Just got my 718 cayman and was driving today as it started to rain. I went to flip the wipers on and nothing... I’ve checked the fuse and made sure the frunk was closed properly but still nothing. Anyone have any ideas?

Here is a test you can try, according to the Good to Know app it is for replacing the blades. With the ignition off, press the wiper stalk down once. The wipers should move upwards through 45 degrees. If that works, I'd try doing all the wiper speeds and effects listed in the Good to Know app.

I never drive in the rain, but had to last week, and was caught off guard by some of the automatic things the wipers do. I don't have the rain sensor so my expectations were low, but when I came up to a red light, the wipers automatically went into intermittent mode. Kind of surprising.

Last summer I had the same issue after putting something in the froot (front boot UK ;))
It was raining and when I started the car I tried the wipers and nothing!

Turned out I hadn’t closed the froot properly shut, so actually quite a clever additional safety feature.
