Man, this is going to take some getting used to. I thought I had a low car before but PASM Sport is much lower than I thought.

I just picked up my Boxster GTS and I knew it was going to be low and that I would have to do the sideways thing at dips, but I don't think I will be able to make it over a speed bump when I barely clear small driveway humps.

Aside from avoiding, any tips?

The biggest difference for me going from Pasm to Spasm was to get in and out of the car, -10mm extra does more then one might think.
The speed humps we have in Sweden does not causing me any problems, I also drive in the winter without the car being a snow plow :)

My best advice is to take the humps with an angle....

I think you will find it will clear speed humps unless you have massive ones where you are. I think the bottom of the lip at the front should be approx 155mm from the ground when I measured it.

Also if you notice the spoiler angles up underneath and it is a lot different approaching a speed hump on the flat versus a dip and a hump. The spoiler underneath is also plastic so wont hurt to scrape it a little if you have to.

I found I have to take average speed bumps VERY slow. I almost feel bad slowing down people behind me but I'm not going to damage my car to save someone 5 seconds of time.

I live in a somewhat small E. Texas town with above ground storm drains on many residential intersections. Sooooo happy that with my base 2018C I can now take these head on :)

Not so with the traded in 2017 VW GTI with a front splitter. Heck, even without the splitter I had to take these at an angle which ca be a real pain with other cars at the intersection not knowing if you are turning or just maneuvering to get a good angle of attack.

Good ground clearance is key for my neighborhood at least. Just another reason to love my Cayman.

Btw, I checked on Scrape Armor product and they do not currently support the GTS. Ground clearance (steep driveway) has me sticking with regular PASM instead of getting SPASM.

As for GTS clearance vs non GTS both with SPASM my measurements at dealer showed no difference. Is Sport Design really lower or does Porsche quote the GTS 10 mm drop only because it is only model with standard PASM?

The Sport Design trim does take away from the clearance. However, the black front lip on the Sport Design is removable and can be replaced as needed. I think I remember seeing the part priced at about $200-$300.

I wouldn't worry much about under lip scraping that you can't really see and probably just replace the part when/if I was selling the car or there was visible damage when looking at the car from the front . Would probably still be cheaper than Scrape Armor.

Its the front thats lower with sport design, i cant remember how much it is, 10 - 20mm?
So the ride height on a S and GTS with pasm /spasm is the same but the GTS front is lower.
An S with sport design and pasm/spasm have the same front and ride height as a GTS with pasm/spasm.

*edit*
Pasm - 10mm
spasm - 20mm
That goes for both GTS and S
