Hey there, so you have a 2024 PCM (no CD/DVD player) and it has Android Auto enabled on it? How? Can you provide a photo of the version screen?

  • Press “CAR” button on PCM
  • Tap/select “SET” located on lower edge of the screen
  • Scroll down to “Software Update” and tap/select
  • Scroll to “Version Information” and tap/select
Sorry I didn't mean to mislead you. I actually have a CD/DVD player in mine and had my PCM flashed a number of months ago by the forum member simaservis1108. If my situation doesn't apply to this thread please let me know but I was just looking to see if anyone had similar experiences with AA once it was enabled.

To answer your question directly, I have software version MHI2_US_POG11_P5186 1476 and Hardware version 056.

OK yes a little confusing, so a 2023 PCM 4 with standard 2023 firmware/hardware and this is in a MY24? Where are you located?

Ahh Sima activated it for you, as you say this thread doesn't really apply, it would be best to reach back out to him and tell him you are having this issue, hopefully he can fix it.

Thanks for sharing the detailed instructions. I have a 2018 Panamera e-Hybrid (in US). It came with CarPlay and Nav. I was successfully able to enable AndroidAuto, Widescreen and Voice assistant without any issues.

Now i am trying to update the Maps (currently have maps from 2018/2019). I downloaded the maps file P356_N60S5MIBH3_NAR_V03959803AR_0356_2024_02310034.zip, unzipped it into sd card. But i keep getting "The source contains no valid update data" when trying to update from Settings. If i try to update from Developer Menu(?) it says "The metainfo file could not be read."

Any suggestions on what i might be doing wrong? I have tried both FAT32 and exFat formats.

I have not been able to load the latest maps either. I did update mine with the older 2022-23 maps successfully. I plan to try the newer maps again before too long, and will compare the two packages to see if I can determine what might be missing on the latest maps.

Did you check that the archive came down and saved without errors? You should check this before anything else.

And why are you not using the latest MAP Database P376?

Yes archive saved without any errors. I can share a screenshot of what files it had.
I had the same issue with P376 as well, so i thought to try the older one just in case.

I should have been clearer about the "saved without errors", I mean using 7zip you can "test" the archive before you expand it and copy it to the SD card.

If neither worked it would seem that there is something else wrong, what is the firmware version on the PCM? Also, what is the current map version?

tested P376 and can confirm archive is fine.

What would be helpful is for you to provide the actual file name of the MAP database that you used and the firmware version and resulting file name as seen on the version screen of the PCM. A photo of the version screen would tell us a lot. (y)

When I look at what it would provide for Europe I see this name: EUR_11PR107_FCT3WS-231E0_Offline_Update.tar Which quite different than the expected format: P333_N60S5MIBH3_ROW_2023_2024
Finally took a screen shot

After thinking over my failure to have the new 2024 maps recognized by the PCM, I tried again today. And it failed again. Then I realized I've been skipping one of the important steps. The SD card must be freshly formatted, single partition in Master Boot Record schema, and FAT32 (not ExFAT or NTFS). If you are formatting on a Mac, select FAT.

After a clean format, I copied the same files that had failed before, and it worked perfectly. So don't just trash existing files on your SD card, reformat it completely.

FWIW, this is the Zip file I used for North America.

It appears that mibsolution.one is no longer accessible, at least from my iMac and PC. I am getting an "Argo Tunnel error 1033."

The latest 2024-2025 North American map that I downloaded from megashare is not updating. I am getting the same "the source contains no valid update data" error when trying to update the map.

PSC Porsche Sport Chrono package option with the All In One update?
I followed the instructions closely to use the AIO MHI2 update in my 2017 Boxster S and it worked perfectly! Android Auto is super stable now and the screen taps are recognized right away (no more flakey CarSoft4 CP/AA module!). Seems like all the PCM bugs/issues I've had are now fixed. My NAV maps were successfully updated from Q3.2015 to Q3.2023.

One thing I was hoping to try was the auto blip / rev match once the PSC option was enabled with the AIO update. The FEC 00060500 for PSC is stated in the wiki that it would be enabled even though I don't have the PSC option on my car. After the update, I do not have rev matching while in Normal or Sport modes.

Is there something else I need to do to make my car think it has the PSC option for menu options and to enable rev matching?

It appears that mibsolution.one is back up again. I got the same error yesterday, but all is fine today.

Can you share where you saw that SC would be enabled with AiO? I updated mine a while back with K5186 AiO, did not see any indication of PSC activation.

I updated to the 2024-25 maps from mibsolution.one a couple weeks ago. They updated fine once I made sure to properly prep the SD card before copying the files over.

Sure, the wiki at GitHub - harman-f/MHI2_MIB2_AIO_FW_Update_Template: Harman MHI2 MIB2 AIO FW template lists FEC code 00060500 (PSC) as one of the ones to be enabled, plus the specific file used during the AIO install also shows FEC 00060500. This is how I personally understand the AIO install to work, but I may be wrong...

@quattroatl I had the exact same success as @Arne. I made sure my SD card was formatted as FAT32. The 2024-25 map update install took about 20-30 minutes to complete.

Maybe user error here.

I unzip the latest map files to the root of the SD card and try to update through the PCM software update, correct? Just choose the SD slot where the update files are located, right?

I never unzip straight onto the card, as the unzip process may add some hidden temp files that may mess up the MD5 checks. I unzip to a folder on my computer, then copy the files over to the freshly formatted card. Again, format the card before the file copy to make sure no hidden things remain from some prior use.
