Are dealerships currently offering discounts below MSRP for 2025 builds?

I'm curious to know if dealerships are currently offering any discounts on 2025 model year builds.

Has anyone had any luck negotiating a discount on a 2025MY vehicle recently?

I'm in the DC area where we have a total of 7-8 dealerships within 30 miles. Have been talking to the SM of the dealership where I ordered and purchased my 2022 CGTS in July 2021 about a Spyder RS allocation. He may be saying this to make me feel good, but has claimed that the 5% discount I got 3 years ago was the last time they discounted an allocation on any 718, period. The only other "nominal" discounts of $1-$2k in the past three years were on a couple of base and S models that ended up in dealer inventory due to a cancellation or extra allocation.

I think you are ABSOLUTELY correct. I just took a look at the new inventory on Porsche's website and was very surprised to see there are over 250 NEW 718's listed within 500 miles of my location (Washington DC). That covers everything from base Boxsters to GT4RS's, but that is still far more than I would have expected given that my two preferred local dealerships have a total of only 2 between them.

I even found one Boxster BTS that I suspect you could negotiate a $30,000 discount on: New Porsche 718 Boxster GTS 4.0 for sale at Porsche Cincinnati Kings Whoever thought adding $40,000 for "special wishes" just to get a brown leather interior was a good idea must have been drunk. And likely unemployed now.

@CarbonFour If you are seriously interested in getting a car now at a discount, you should use the Porsche website shopping tools to find something as close to your specs as possible and make an offer before December 31.

Could the order or build have been messed up or they just messed up the sticker?
No. That’s the way CXX options (Sonderwünsche) work. The car comes off the line with whatever are the defaults for what has been requested. The defaults are removed and the custom pieces installed. The Monroney sticker shows the defaults and the sum total of the CXX options. Shortly after delivery a Certificate of Customization is mailed to the owner and that lists the specifics.
