Rather than spending time toweling dry, it would seem faster and easier to use one of those leaf blowers…true? And downside?
I use the full size AIR FORCE® MASTER BLASTER. Expensive and somewhat overkill, but works amazingly well.Anyone use one of these? Air Force Blaster I've been toying with getting one b/c it has a filter and heats the air. it does seem small, but so are my cars.
I bough one of those and returned it. I bought the MasterBlaster referenced in a post above. It’s the cat’s meow.Anyone use one of these? Air Force Blaster I've been toying with getting one b/c it has a filter and heats the air. it does seem small, but so are my cars.
I use an EGO 670The 40 volt Kobalt stuff from Lowe’s isn’t bad, and the 56 volt EGO stuff is excellent!
I’ve been thinking of moving to a filtered water rinse with the air dryer. I’ve done it in the past and it definitely helps with avoiding water spots.I use a system called RaceGlaze; it filters and purifies the rinse water so you can just rinse the car off and leave it to dry naturally without watermarks. That said, I also have a corded blower (designed for automotive, so it has an air filter) for blasting water out of panel gaps and wheels etc to ensure no traces of trapped suds can leak out later.
Not at all risky if you use the correct blower with a soft tip.Leaf blower to dry off - fast but risky.
I just drive mine around the block @ 50MPH and come back and dry it off and then wipe it down with a Glosser ~Rather than spending time toweling dry, it would seem faster and easier to use one of those leaf blowers…true? And downside?
What do you mean finish with a damp drying towel? I'm assuming you're not getting your dryer towel before using it right...?Car is ceramic coated....hand wash...initial dry with ego blower with ego stubby attachment, then finish with damp microfiber drying towel and detailing spray. Drive it to heat up and dry off rotors.
I have an air force master blaster to dry off the motorcycles but it's too small for a car.

None us are weird..we are just misunderstood!i need to show my wife this article....I used to think I was the only one nuts enough to keep a leaf blower for drying his car...
mine is a rechargeable unit with a rubberised nozzle - the battery usually good enough for about 2 drying passes.
its good to know I'm not that weird after all...![]()
