I’m 2 weeks into ownership of a 21 s. Car had 5800 miles when I got it I put 800 miles on it already and tonight it threw a code. Wondering if anyone has any ideas? Do I dare disconnect the battery to reset the computer as I’ve done on domestic cars or is that a no no with a 718? It’s still under warranty but I like to know what to expect.

thanks

if the fault is preset, disconnecting the battery won't resolve it - its still a stored code
(code scanner that can read DME codes is required to clear them)

I just had the same message turn up on my '23 CGTS (9,300 mi) - its going in to be diagnosed (my scanner shows both front cooling fans with fault codes)

Yes after I posted I did a search and there are older posts but they all seem to be one of those 2 issues. On a domestic car an oxygen sensor is pretty cheap and easy to replace. This will be my Porsche baptism. It will all work out. Dealer tomorrow. I’m just glad it’s drivable as I was 3 hours from home.

Car is still under factory warranty. I went to the local dealer on a Saturday, service was open. I set up an appointment for 10 days out, what they had. I asked can you please pull the code while I am here so we know what the issue is in case you need to order a part, that's more efficient. No we can't just pull the code you will need to wait until your appointment. I drove up to a local parts store, guy says no problem and pulls the code. Its P2262 super charger boost pressure not detected, DTC severity 2of3, not sure what 2of 3 is? The boost gauge on the dash registers boost so I'm not sure where the problems lies. Going in 4/10 so I'll see what the Porsche experience is.
