Last Friday, my father and I picked up our 2024 Spyder RS after 8 months of waiting. Some notable options in our spec include Vanadium Gray, LWBs, PCCB, calipers in black, Bose, Chrono, Artic Gray stiching, and PDLS.
The intake and exhaust noise is GLORIOUS! Haven’t reached 9K RPM yet, but it is so tempting to just disregard the break-in period every time I get in. Suspension compliance is great and steering is sublime. Our first PDK Cayman/Boxster, but transmission is also superb (significantly more enjoyable than 992 8-speed).
Just installed Houndstooth LWB inserts and clear side marker lights last night.
Admittedly, this isn’t our first 718. We specced and owned a 23 GT4 6MT we traded in last year. Thought I would finally post on the forum after picking up the SRS. She looks great next to the other pony in the stable. She will stay at my parent’s home for now until I finalize the move.
