Is anyone based in or near Markham, Ontario, Canada? Kollektivwerks support seemed receptive to developing a mount for the 718 if someone was able to provide a car for test fitting. I really like their mount on my MK 7.5 GTI and they seem to have a good amount of other platforms supported, but not the 718 yet.

I have the carbonio mount which uses the same style quick release screw. Unfortunately, it is wobbly and for me, unaesthetically pleasing. The kollektivwerks mount design is more rigid so it doesn’t move.I looked at the site and couldn’t figure out how it would install on the 718 since they have a few different mounting options on other cars. If you were going to use 3m tape you might want to check out the universal bracket from Craig’s.

I just put this on mine and think it looks great since it’s centered and you can adjust the position or remove it in 10 seconds.
I did see it before and like the ease of install, but it looks like in the photo the mount point pokes out when the plate is not mounted.
Also it's 3x the cost of a kw plate or 2.5x of the carbonio
