Owner's manual in My Porsche app (2024 MY)

For my 2019 CGTS (now sold), a digital copy of the owner's manual was available in the Good to Know app (now discontinued) and then in the My Porsche app. However, the owner's manual for my 2024 CGTS does not appear in the My Porsche app.

Has Porsche discontinued this feature or are other 2024 owners able to see the manual?

Other threads on this topic lead me to suspect that it will come up once your car is built. I just get "discover current phase" on the "vehicle" page, but no "details" button and no manual.

Here's a thought: make sure the dealer for your '24 used the same Porsche ID as they did for your previous car. I had to log out from the app and log in again with a different email address as the username in order to see the build status of my '24. I suppose if I log back in with the old one my now-sold '21 and its owners manual will reappear.

Here's a pet peeve: Car manufacturers seem to deliberately print only one owners manual for every trim/package level, as if to rub your nose in it ("Optional equipment shown" translates as, "You may not have this feature, see what you're missing?"). That makes it frustrating to find the instructions that actually apply (as an example the overhead switches for the interior lights on a Subaru might not look anything like what's shown on the sketch in the manual, or on my wife's Audi when it says, "On cars equipped with.." I'm thinking, "Do we have that?").

So, now if there's an app with my vehicle and VIN number, and the owners manual is now digital, why can't they customize it for my optional equipment??? That would be a justification for not letting everyone get the digital manual in the app...
Thank you for the suggestion. I should have stated more clearly that my car is built. I took delivery of it a couple of weeks ago and I have it listed in the My Porsche app. All Car Connect services are working fine. Just no owner's manual.

And I agree that it should be easy to customize a digital owner's manual to the VIN.

It’s not specific to 2024 models. I have a 2023, and I plus many others do not have access to the GTK app via My Porsche. This was discussed in another thread not long ago. There is no consensus on the reasons why it displays for some and not for others in My Porsche, nor has anyone provided a sure “fix”. It seems to be a hit or miss proposition that I expect Porsche will eventually sort out.

Fortunately, Porsche did not remove the standalone app at June end as they had claimed they would. I like to assume Porsche is aware of the issue, and that is the reason why GTK standalone is still active for those who downloaded it before Porsche removed it from the app stores.
If this only affects 2024 and some 2023 models, I am wondering if this reflects the fact that Porsche updated the printed manual but has not digitized it yet. The printed manual that came with my car is dated 6/2023.

OK my app under account, settings, only has "units" and "privacy." no digital manual.
Then again there are no 'vehicles' in my 'garage.' When I try to add one, the app wants a vin number. Online I put in the Commission number but it bounces back a screen. The app already knows about my order I can get status (but not configuration).

Have you tried adding a vehicle from the 'garage' tab in the app? or is it already there?
Yes, the car is in the My Garage tab.

For anybody who is having the same issue, the manual for my 2024 CGTS has finally become available following an update today to the MyPorsche app for iOS to v10.24.3.

Assuming that you use iOS, make sure that you have the latest version (10.24.3) of the MyPorsche app with the updated look below. I got the update last night. Then go to Vehicle details. You should have the Owner's Manual tab there and be able to download. It doesn't show up under Settings.
