Could use a little guidance please. 2019 Boxster GTS, looking to just enable AA. The current FW is MHI2_US_POG11_P5103 1349. I formatted my 16gb SDCard Fat 32, put the MIB files on the root, renamed the Swdlautorun.txt to remove the leading _. Is there anything else I need to download and add to the SDCard before placing it in the radio and following the process to unlock AA?

EDIT: Downloaded the M.I.B_Patches_20220625.7z and extracted to the /Patches directory on the SDCARD as well.

Anyone else having a time-out issue getting to MIB Solution :: Login Tried different links throughout the forum, none work.
The link in your post works for me. But try this direct link to the folder:
mib/TD/MQB_Solution/MHI2 - HARMAN/Firmware/Porsche/US
https://mibsolution.one/#/1/9/MHI2 - HARMAN/Firmware/Porsche/US

The firmware file to download is:
MHI2_US_POG11_K5186_1_MU1476_AIO_20220723.7z

You will be asked to login. The user name and PW is guest.

You can save hours on the download by using Free Download Manager available here:
Free Download Manager - download everything from the internet

This is a must if you plan on downloading new map data.

I installed the firmware last July to enable Android Auto and it works great (I already had Nav and Carplay).

Thank you!

Got that downloaded and am also downloading the latest maps (even though I never use it, mind as well update it!).

For the firmware and the map file, do they go on the root of the SDCard?

Correct. Unpack the zipped file directly to the root of the SD card. For the firmware update, there will be approx 27 folders and 8 files that will be in the root after unpacking. One of the files will be README_AIO.txt which has instructions for the install.

Used AiO to activate CarPlay, then activated Wifi and WLAN Hotspot. (Car came w/o factory NAV, CarPlay nor Porsche Connect).

Iphone connects to car's hotspot just fine, but Porsche Track Precision app doesn't work – keeps saying I need to connect to the car. Regardless if using CarPlay or BT.

Any thoughts?

On a 2021 Cayman GT4, I have no CarPlay, Connect, or Navigation equipped. I went through the AIO installation and it said it patched the firmware and installed the AA/CP icons, but I'm not able to get AA to show up. I don't have a USB port in the center console - just the standard 12V socket. When I plug my Android phone into the USB port in the glove box and open Android Auto on my phone, the car detects a USB device, but it doesn't look like Android Auto is able to connect at all. Am I missing something?

As a side note, the touch screen doesn't work in GEM for me; I have to use the tuner knob to scroll through and select. I couldn't find that mentioned in the wiki, so I figured I'd mention it here just in case someone else runs into the same thing.

Edit: MIB-Wiki figured it out. The firmware wasn't being discovered correctly because my train is named differently (it has an _1 in it). I had to rename my patch folder from MHI2_US_POG11_P5186_MU1476_PATCH to MHI2_US_POG11_K5186_1_MU1476_PATCH. After that, I re-applied the update via GEM and Android Auto worked immediately from the glovebox USB port. Nav now shows up for me as well, but I don't have a GPS antenna connected yet.

Question around doing another update using the AIO so I can get the proper AA icon...

I originally patched my system last year with M.I.B_Patches_20220314.7z (the Pi day edition!) and I now want to update it to the 20220625 edition. I updated MiB but when I went into GEM I saw the message

"Go back to stock FW by applying update via user defined SWDL -> select....."

So how to do go back to stock before I can apply the latest set of patches?

I'm not a Github user but tried to use Github search but didn't find anything...

Discovered how to use search and found the actual string...

but I don't understand the instruction...

Just wanted to post an update and say that MIB-Wiki did respond privately and since I already had my system patched, I could just do: GEM --> M.I.B. -> Multimedia System -> Porsche -> POG11
to update the interface to show the AA icon.

Thank you MIB-Wiki!!

M.I.B has a screen to show the GPS status.
Have you checked that?

Try a factory reset of your settings.
This will most likely not help... but is worth an easy try.

Next install M.I.B and get a backup (share with me).
If there is nothing nasty hidden on your unit from the guys who patched it I would try to install clean FW and patch again with M.I.B.

But there is still a godd chance, that this is hardware related.

[/QUOT thanks for your help I sadly found this forum after I paid (£100) for someone else to remotely do it and they wiped the sd card after so the only way I can get into it is to download and try myself, do I use your link below to get the latest mid and patch or do I look for a porsche specific one? im not that fussed cause il use android auto mostly but I know when I sell the car its gona have sat nav stuck in Germany when before it just didn't work as not installed (which may have been better lol) now its just bugging me lol-thanks again

thats what I thought but porsche parts gave me one like this when I asked for gps antenna, I plugged it in where my original one is and made no difference
The GPS antenna is up in the roof of the car, then plugs into a cable that goes down to the back of the PCM and plugs into the blue port. I think you are missing the cable that goes from the roof to the PCM. As you can see at Suncoast Porsche, the kit includes hardware also. If your car came with CarPlay, it would already have the GPS, and my car also had the cable plugged into the blue port on the back of the PCM.
