UPS just dropped this off in front of my door. Feels really heavy. Can't wait to get this installed but will need to wait until Friday eve.

Mine arrived today. Took about 15 minutes to install. Really easy; hardest part was pulling the original shift knob off (I ended up using a wrench with lots of protection between the wrench and the shift knob rotating locker piece). I love how it looks now!

I am so tempted with getting mine installed but with some crunch time at work that resulted in 10-12 hours every day this week, I don't trust myself sitting in my boxster with either a plier or a wrench. I'll prob. break something. So, while it's killing me that I can't get mine installed yet until this wkend, I am equally excited that you all got this done so quickly. A few folks on other forums have shared theirs also.

I have a manual transmission. Asked Euro Impulse about it when I saw this group buy last month. It wasn't available yet but "soon". Just checked. They said it'll be up for pre-order tomorrow and the smooth leather option should be shipping by end September (I didn't ask about the perf'd leather or aluminum release dates).

They said you might be setting up a group buy for that as well and will be extending the same 20% discount. Are you planning to do that? If so I'll add to your list. If not, I'll pre-buy on my own.

I would suggest black stitching on the knob, because the stitch pattern is so different from the rest of the car's interior stitching.
