I did not see the map files when I looked last night. It is possible that they will still be added. If not there is the alternate site for the maps that I previously posted.
I got from the alternate site. It has that silly "I'm going to make you wait for 6 hours if you don't pay" download stuff, but popping on and off a VPN along with a web page refresh, and I got the entire 11GB down in about 3-4 minutes.

Info for UE owners: I've just seen that there's a newer map version for UE (P410, the previous was P390 that I installed in March). I've downloaded it from the link of @Ken G (thanks again), in the next days I will try to install it and check if it's a good version.

Ken:

I ran the AIO update yesterday & I'm guessing it did not complete successfully - this seems to be my life story with software these days. The file I ran was MHI2_US_POG11_K5186_1_AIO_MU1476_20230318.7z, unzipped to the root directory of my SD Card.

All steps ran successfully I believe and quickly up until the final reboot. The only detail I wasn't sure of was the "Summary of Devices" which I believe showed MMX2 = "Y". The rest were "-" as in the photo on page 4 of the installation instructions. That surprised me but I presumed this meant that the MMX2 package was the only one that got updated per page 3 of the installation document ("Updates packages have to show Y(es)"). The final reboot, after the "Cancel backup documentation" step never came back in the time I gave it - which was at least 5 minutes and probably more. When it didn't come back, I eventually pressed the left power button & the PCM came right back with the Porsche logo & the normal PCM screen (ie: the normal user interface as defined in the instructions). The GEM menu was accessible using the CAR/TUNER buttons and I was able to enter it and run the SVM fix.

Now, why do I think this install failed? From what I can tell I do not have Android Auto or CarPlay & my original Navigation/Map screens are no longer available. I have not yet done the map updates but I certainly did not expect to have my navigation deleted.

So, a couple questions:
1) Should I have been running this with the ignition on? I did not do that. I just enabled the PCM with the left button with the ignition off. Prior to the last reboot that didn't come back, I never considered that maybe I needed to have the ignition on.
2) Did I corrupt something by powering the PCM back on maybe too early after the "Cancel backup documentation" step?
3) Is my next step to start over again with the AIO update?

A couple other questions regarding this process:
1) To update the maps, do I need to access the GEM menu or do I just use the "Software Update" selection in the PCM?
2) Will this be recognized if my navigation is out?

Thanks again in advance
I’m having a similar issue - did you get yours working? Did you update maps through the PCM or GEM?

You update maps through the PCM.

Something you might try while awaiting expert help:
With ignition switch turned on, put the SD card back in the slot and then wait a while. If your first install attempt didn't finish, this will give it the opportunity to do so. I've done some bad things during an install, and the program always just picked up and continued if I put the card in the slot.

This file: "MHI2_US_POG11_K5186_1_AIO_MU1476_20230318.7z " is not for ROW, do you see the "US" designation in the name, this is for Canada and the US. You need ROW.

And as stated maps are updated through the PCM menu, you must have them on a FAT32 formatted SD card,

He did not run the US version. He ran this version MHI2_ER_POG11_K5126_1_AIO_MU1394_20230320.7z. He is in Australia and thought that version was for both Europe and ROW. What is the file name for the ROW version? I haven't seen one.

Well that is the danger of a cut and paste reply, he didn't indicate what he had run other than what he posted. ;)

I was just looking to confirm if the "ER" version handled "ROW"... pretty sure it does.

Yes, the ignition must be to the "on" position, also you should have the car hooked up to a battery charger/maintainer to keep it from shutting down.
Unfortunately, the way the instructions are written implies ignition off. As we know,if the ignition is on the PCM is on. However, the first thing the instructions say (going by memory here, BTW!) is to hold down the right hand knob (which is actually the left hand knob) until the PCM comes on. Hence the confusion as this implies ignition off.

I did have it hooked to my charger, not the CTEK.

FWIW & thanks!

Hmmm, I have never heard or seen those steps, so I will share these, which I have used on multiple PCM upgrades, HTH.

If he ran the ER version of MIB AIO, won't it now show ER?
Hopefully @Professoreggs choose the update file that matched and he remembers what was there before, maybe grabbed a screen shot with his phone, I always do.

Did he say anything after this: "Now, why do I think this install failed? From what I can tell I do not have Android Auto or CarPlay & my original Navigation/Map screens are no longer available. I have not yet done the map updates but I certainly did not expect to have my navigation deleted. "

At this point we don't know how far the installation got before it was interrupted... Did it actually update the firmware but not update the FEC section, I don't know, a copy of the log might help.

If the PCM was version "ER" before he started and he has a good extraction of AIO on the SD card and follows the steps I posted above, I would recommend running AIO again.

He posted the error messages he received in this thread

It seems like car play was activated but his navigation is not working.

Hopefully he took a picture of his original firmware.

Hmmm, things really went off the rails, that lightening bolt error message could be due to low voltage. As for CarPlay, I don't know what year the car is, at some point Porsche made it standard here, perhaps even earlier in Australia?

Right now it is a lot of guessing, did he have OEM Nav before, CarPlay before, did the battery system go into protection mode, was the process interrupted, was the SDcard file structure complete and without corruption...
